21日になりますが、本家poconut.comの ジャーナルのページに、Rustyが、ご挨拶をアップしておりますので、こちらで訳をつけて、ご紹介します。ジョージグランサムのことも触れておりまして、ほのぼのした感じ。日本のファンとも、会えるといいな、って思います。
New Year January 21, 2006
Happy New Year everyone. We're looking forward to seeing all you poconuts on
the road this year. Looks like it's going to be another busy year. It's
great starting the year with Paul back in the saddle. Let's all let Paul
know how much we missed him.
I talked to George on his birthday and he's doing fine. He reminded me that
for a little over a month we're the same age. He misses playing with the
band and he's working on getting back behind the drums. We talked about the
book I'm writing and he recalled the day we met in the music store.
Well, from reading the community board, it looks like we'll be seeing a lot
of northeastern nuts in a couple weeks. See ya' then!

みなさん、あけましておめでとう。今年も、ツアーでみなさん全員に会えることをとても
楽しみにしています。また今年も、忙しい一年になりそうです。今年は、Paulがバンドに
戻ってくる、という、すばらしいニュースで幕を明ける年になります。みんなで、どれほど
寂しかったか、ってPaulに伝えることにしましょう。
Georgeの誕生日の日（1月20日）に、彼と話をしました。元気でしたよ。彼ったら、僕もすぐに誕生日（2月23日）が来て、同じ歳になるってことを、思い出させてくれました。
George は、バンドのことをとても恋しがっていて、ドラムの前に戻りたい、と言っていました。僕が書こうと思っている本のことを話したら、僕たちが、初めて、楽器やで出会った日のことを思い出させてくれました。
そうだ、BBSを見てたら、ここ数週間で、北東部の poconuts のみんなに会えるってことに
気が付いた。会えるのを楽しみにしています。

いつも興味深いお話ありがとうございます。詠一センセイも、どこかで見ていてくれるといいですね。せめて、まだちゃんとPocoを覚えていてくれるといいな。
